iOS 19: Every iPhone Version Getting It + New Features

Apple just dropped iOS 19 and the rollout covers more iPhones than expected. If you’re on iPhone 12 or newer, you’re safe. Here’s the full list and what’s actually new.

Supported iPhone Versions

  • iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max – Full features, new AI camera tools
  • iPhone 16 series – Full features
  • iPhone 15 series – Full features except satellite AI text
  • iPhone 14 series – No AI background generator
  • iPhone 13 series – Core features only
  • iPhone 12 series – Security + redesign, no AI features

Not supported: iPhone 11 and older. Apple cut them off this year.

3 Features That Actually Matter

1. Live Translate in Calls: Real-time voice translation in Phone and FaceTime. Works offline on A17+ chips.

2. AI Battery: Learns your routine and limits charge to 80% until you need it. Early tests show 15% better long-term health.

3. App Folders on Lock Screen: Finally. Put shortcuts/widgets in folders without unlocking.

Update rolls out Tuesday. Back up before you install. The AI features take 2-3 days to learn your usage.
