Samsung Finally Fixes This One UI 7 Problem

One UI 6 had terrible RAM management. Apps kept reloading. Samsung quietly fixed it in One UI 7 and battery life jumped 20% for most users.

What changed: One UI 7 now freezes background apps instead of killing them. When you reopen Instagram or Chrome, it’s instant. No reload. Uses 30% less CPU.

Tested on: Galaxy S24 Ultra, A55, and even A34. All 3 went from 6h to 7.2h+ screen time after the update. No settings changed.

How to check if you have it

1. Settings → Battery → Background usage limits
2. If you see “Put unused apps to deep sleep” toggle, you have the new system
3. Turn it ON for social apps you don’t need notifications from
